What are the signs of a weak car battery?

A car battery is very necessary for its performance, in that case, what are the signs of a weak car battery? There are several signs, listed below, that will let you know when it is time for a car battery replacement:

• The car typically has a twinge when you turn the car key - This click is heard in the hood once the key is turned to ignite the engine, and usually, the engine won't start at all. This click happens in the alternators.
• Alert sign on the dashboard - Check engine lights, which might appear in some cars; only a battery sign will appear on the dashboard in others. This is detected by the computer, which relays the information of a faulty battery back into the dashboard for the driver to be aware.
• Dim light - In some cases, the car will have dim lights, which do not provide clear visibility on the road. It may also cause the lights to turn off when the vehicle is still in motion.
• Corrosion on the battery - You will notice that the car terminal has corrosion and a white-colored residue, which is also noticeable on the clippers. This causes the clippers to have insulation between them and the airports.
• Frequent jumps - This will be noticeable when the driver jumps every time the car needs to be started. This will be a sign of a weak car battery and car battery replacement is required.
• Bad smell - A bad smell will be noticed once the hood is opened, and this smell is usually of rotten eggs.
• Electrical problems - This happens when the dashboard blinks frequently, or the phone charger doesn't work.
• Swelling of the battery - Swelling may happen, but in rare cases, it should be changed immediately once you notice the car battery.
• The level of battery acid - If your car has a wet battery cell, you may notice that the level of acid is low, and you refill it goes down every time.
• Dry cell light turns red - The dry battery cell light on top turns red, indicating the battery is weak, and car battery replacement is required.
