Are you tired of tire repair? You may be putting out dollars on an endless round of tire repair. It’s true that all tires will wear out over time. Some vehicle owners try to wait as long as possible before shelling out the dough for new tires. However, the dollars they keep putting out for urgent tire repair keeps adding up. Hopefully, your tire service center has provided expert advice about tire service, and when it is time to replace your old tires.

Don’t wait until your vehicle is a hazard on the road. There are five visual signs that you can watch for:

  1. Depth of Tread – Tread depth should not be less than 1/16th of an inch.
  2. Visible Indicator Bars -- Newer tires have tread-wear indicator bars that gradually begin to appear as the tread wears down. If more than one or two of these bars are visible, the tread is getting too low.
  3. Cracks in the sidewall – These could be a sign that your tire is developing a leak.
  4. Bulges or blisters on the outer surface – Weak spots are starting to develop and could lead to a blowout, causing you to lose control of your car.
  5. Excessive Vibration – This could be caused by any number of issues, possibly an internal problem in the tire. Even if this is not the root of the problem, the vibration could damage the tire and cause it to wear prematurely.

Attention Drivers! Check out the condition of your tires with regular tire service before something goes wrong!
